Norwegian Cruise Lines

At Norwegian I worked on a lot of embellishing projects. Below on the left, I tiled and rhinestoned 8 identical purple show jackets between my time as and intern and then as a project contractor. On the right, I removed the original appliqués on the sleeves and the back of the garment before re-positioning them and adding the accompanying trim design. I worked on the sleeves, shoulder pads, and the back which connects around the neck of the garment. I made 4 identical jackets; the last two photos in the slideshow shows the original jacket pre-alterations. On the bottom right, I rhinestoned 3 identical jackets in the stripe design.

I worked as a firsthand and got to have my hands on three of the gowns that were made in the shop. Working on this show allowed me to learn how to manuever large amounts of fabrics and manipulate the visual weight of a garment.

The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui

Along with designing the hair and makeup, I worked as a first hand on the UCF production of The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. This bias cut dress was made for the Dockdaisy and had specially made fabric covered buttons.

The show involved gun violence and I created fake gun shot wounds on various characters. The dress is meant to reflect the aftermath of a car crash and reveal the gun shot wounds from under a quick-rigged sweater.

Brightstar

I stitched a dress for UCF's production of Brightstar; due to the fast-paced nature of the show I'm using a magnetic closure to make quick changes an ease.
