Metamorphosis

This was my first show that I costume designed at UCF in the fall of 2023. The unique environment in the pool led me to chose the fabrics used in the costumes wisely. The fabrics needed to be flexible so that as the actors moved through out the water, it moved with them.

Sweeney Todd

Our shop made Lovett's dress, a corset, a pair of breeches, and a vest for the show that were designed by me and my co-designer. Johanna's dress was an "build-eration" where we heavily altered a dress from stock.
There was a cast of 50 people and 15 wigs.

I was Co-Costume Designer with Aiden Christian in my last semester of UCF. We split the lead characters up to design, then collaborated in the design for Johanna and ensemble. I took on the extra role of Hair and Makeup designer while he handled a lot of our paperwork.

My Designs

During my last semester at UCF, I led a class of 3 people to create 13 masks for the masquerade ball scene; for the last 3 months we have been sculpting and casting these masks out of a mix of varmaform and paper mache. Meant to create an uncomfortable and threatening presence, these masks are in pairs of "predator and prey" and have exaggerated features to create a grotesque expression.
